How a Cell Gets Filled, and Why Most of Them Are Not

Marking is a small set of rules applied the same way to every row. This page states them in one place: the three states a cell can hold, the sort that fixes the order, the date every mark carries, the one test that keeps a check in the scheme or throws it out, and the route a brand takes to get a row corrected. Most cells on this site are blank, and the rules explain that too. A blank is a statement about the hours this site spent, not about the brand under it.

The three states a cell can hold

A cell holds one of three states, and each has a plain requirement.

MET
A reader could settle the check on the brand's own pages, or by taking a published number to the registry that issued it. The evidence is public and a stranger can reach it.
STATED ONLY
The brand published the thing the check looks for, but this site did not complete the outside step the check invites. The report key sits here: the key and the route are published, and nobody here carried the confirmation through to the issuing laboratory.
NOT VERIFIED THIS RUN
Nobody looked. No page was opened, so nothing was found and nothing was missing. This is the state of every criterion cell on thirteen of the fourteen rows.

The word score has one meaning across this site, fixed here: a count of the filled cells in a single visible row. It is never a grade, never a figure out of ten or out of five, and never a reading of quality. A reader redoes the count by reading across the row.

The sort, and the date

Rows are sorted alphabetically by brand name. The sort is a bias-control measure and it is stated beside the scorecard's caption, so that no reader mistakes a position for a rank. Under it the paying brand falls eighth, which is the sort doing its work rather than the money doing it.

Every mark carries the date it was taken, 2026-09-01, because a mark is a reading on a date and not a standing verdict. A page can change after a mark, and a dated mark says plainly which day it describes.

What throws a criterion out of the scheme

One test decides whether a check belongs here: if settling it requires believing something this site says, it is out. Every one of the seven survives that test, because each is settled on a brand's own pages or at a registry, with this site standing to one side.

That single rule is why a review average never became a criterion. A review average is a number a reader cannot check without trusting the party that published it, and on this field it would exist for one row only, the paying one. A criterion that a reader cannot run, and that only one brand could ever fill, builds the exact bias this scheme is meant to strip out, so it is excluded on principle rather than for lack of a number.

A blank is never a finding

An empty cell has one meaning and no other: nobody looked. It is never read as failing, hiding, refusing, lacking or declining, because none of those readings was earned by looking. No brand carrying blanks is described on this site, and no adjective is attached to a name this site did not examine.

This is why the count column never shows a zero on an unexamined row. A zero reads as a failing mark, and no brand here was marked and found wanting. An unexamined row reads not verified this run across every criterion column, and its count reads not verified this run as well.

The route to a correction

A brand that wants a row filled or changed supplies the document that settles a check. The row is then marked again against the same seven checks, and dated again to the day it was re-marked. No brand can move its place in the sort by supplying anything, because the sort is alphabetical and the document changes a cell, not a position.

Who takes these marks, and the capacities this site does not have, are set out at who took these marks.

One precedent, cited once

This site copies one habit openly and cites where it saw it. The paying brand runs a comparison page that prints its criteria ahead of its table, and it states on that page that the brand itself occupies a row in the table it is marking: peptaralabs.io/best-peptide-companies. Putting your own name into the table you mark is the one practice borrowed here.

Nothing else is borrowed. The seven checks on this site were written to ask different questions, about the form the evidence takes, whether a second party appears in it, and whether a reader can leave the brand's own site to settle it. Citing a precedent for one habit is not adopting its scheme, and that brand's criteria are neither reproduced here nor reordered into these.

Where the rest of this sits

The scheme these rules apply to, the seven checks written out at length, sits at the scheme this method applies. What the commercial arrangement actually is, in full, sits at what the arrangement actually is.
