A Document You Can Search, or a Picture of One

Click a certificate link and see what opens. That's the whole check. A real document you can scroll and search is one thing. A photo of a page is another.

You can tell the difference in one click. That's why file type gets its own column, apart from anything written inside the file.

What exactly are we checking?

The file itself, not what's in it. A pass means a document opens, with pages that scroll and text you can search. A fail is a picture: a page saved as an image, which you can read but your browser can't search.

It's a quick check, one click and one file, so it sits fourth. You don't have to believe the brand. You just watch what your browser does.

Why does the file type matter?

You can quote a searchable document line by line, compare it with another one, and keep it in case the page changes later. A photo of a page lets you do none of that. You can look at it, and that's about it.

A pass doesn't prove anything in the document is true, or that it matches what ships. It only shows the record was published in a form you can read, quote and check.

What did we find for Peptara Labs?

On 2026-09-01 we downloaded three Peptara Labs certificates. Each was a four-page document: peptaralabs.io/coa/retatrutide.pdf, peptaralabs.io/coa/bpc157.pdf, and peptaralabs.io/coa/ghk-cu.pdf.

The certificates page links more certificates and second-lab reports than these. We only downloaded the five files named here. We didn't open the rest, so we won't describe them.

Here's the interesting part. The three certificates are documents, but the two second-lab reports we downloaded that day were images: peptaralabs.io/coa/janoshik/retatrutide.png and peptaralabs.io/coa/janoshik/bpc157.png.

What does a good record look like?

It has a number and a batch code you can quote back. Peptara Labs walks through one certificate on its site: COA-2026-8642, a four-page panel on BPC-157 batch BPC-260408-A.

It was run by Titreon Analytical, which Peptara Labs describes as a third-party laboratory whose quality system is aligned to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, not itself accredited.
